Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has tabled a budget of Rs. 18.60 trillion for the fiscal year 2081/82 at the parliament. Minister Pun has allocated Rs. 11.40 trillion, which constitutes 61.31% of the total budget, for recurrent expenditure management. Additionally, Rs. 3.52 trillion, representing 18.95% of the budget, has been earmarked for capital expenditure, while Rs. 3.67 trillion, accounting for 19.65% of the total allocation, has been allocated for financial management initiatives.
